Company History
Steve Wallace founded Presentation Media in 1990 to meet the computer display needs of hotel audio visual offices and AV companies in the Washington, D.C. area. The advent of the laptop computer and advances in presentation software put the formerly desk-bound workstation on the road and Presentation Media recognized the need for support in this emerging market. Customer demand for higher-resolution displays, brighter projectors and other powerful visual communication devices increased exponentially. The demand for effective tools to communicate ideas and intentions was the driving factor for success in Presentation Media's early years. The company's ability to quickly adapt to new market trends allowed Presentation Media to make the newest presentation tools available to customers at attractive prices. For many organizations, renting presentation tools makes economic sense due to ever-changing equipment requirements.

As the business expanded, the staff grew. In 1993, Presentation Media moved from its original home in Rockville, Maryland to a warehouse in Laurel, Maryland. Maintaining its position as a major rental supplier of LCD projectors, monitors, and advanced presentation equipment, Presentation Media continued to develop and nurture direct relationships with thousands of clients in numerous industries and branches of government.

In the fall of 1995, Presentation Media was again on the move, in both business and geographic location. Presentation Media moved into the current 8,100 square-foot facility in Jessup, Maryland. Strategically located near Interstate 95, the company serves both the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas. The location also offers the logistic conveniences of the nearby Baltimore/Washington International Airport Cargo Terminal and Corridor Junction, a major ground-shipping hub in the Mid-Atlantic region.

With presentation display technology constantly evolving, the recent emergence of electronic litigation has brought presentation technology into the courtroom. Presentation Media wasted no time in facilitating the transition from conventional to electronic courtroom, supporting numerous law firms in trials and hearings throughout the eastern United States.

Over the years, Presentation Media's commitment to service and quality in both personnel and equipment has not wavered. The constantly changing needs and expectations of clients and partners continue to be the driving force behind the success of Presentation Media.
